The hit theatrical show "Walking With Dinosuars" is roaring into town this weekend only. Straight out of the Jurassic Period, seventeen dinosaurs (the tallest of which measures to be over 36 feet) will take the stage beginning tonight at Freedom Hall.
The idea for the live show was taken from the BBC series of the same name. The performance combines a mixture of paleontology, robotics, puppetry, and good old-fashioned theater to create a spectacle unlike anything that audiences have seen before.
I'm heading to the opening tonight with my family (Jack included...wish me luck on that one). Maybe it's because I don't get out much, but I am stoked. I'm thinking that this is going to be one "dino-mite" show. In the meantime, I'm going to spend the rest of today thinking of more corny dinosaur puns.
