    Bit to Do

Searching for Spring at The Shop at Walnut Grove
    Print this page

It's been a brutal winter. When I woke up to white stuff on the lawn once again, I broke a little inside. On the hunt for signs of spring, I headed to The Shop at Walnut Grove in Eastwood. Right next to the Walnut Grove Nursery, the shop is cozy and full of springy pick-me-ups. For spring, I believe, will come. It just has to.

When the ground thaws, I shall water my flowers with a pink piggy watering can. Until then, it'll just sit around being cute.

A pizza garden? I am in!

Really, gardening, like everything else for me, is about food. I need these cute little markers for all the springy herbs.

It's important to have cute shoes, always.

A sweet little terrarium would be perfect for indoor gardening on these last cold days.

A little something for our furry friends to sport this Friday...

Hats for the ladies means thoughts turn to Derby, which means it really is spring.

And we can't forget the gentlemen. If you bring them back a snappy gift, they start to encourage trips to boutiques, and that is good for everyone.

The Shop at Walnut Grove is located at 16200 Eastwood Cut Off Road, Louisville, KY, 40245. For more information, call 502-558-4427.

    About Kachina Shaw

A transplanted Hawkeye, I've now lived in Louisville longer than any other city. Can't live without: my husband and fur babies, coal-black coffee, peanut M&Ms, sunflowers, monthly vacations, books, walking paths, massage and a big purse.
