As part of the 2010-2011 season, Louisville LGBT theatre company, Pandora Productions, announced its New Play Project. The company started a national search for a new, full-length LGBT play.

After receiving 98 submissions, the Board of Directors paired the choices down to nine. Then Artistic Director Michael Drury cut the list to four: "Abraham Lincoln was a Faggot" by Bixby Elliot, "Dog(run) Diaries" by Andrew Kramer, "For Unto Us" by James McLindon, and "The Legacy" by Adam Siegel.

Now it's time for the audience to decide. Excerpts from each of the four remaining plays will be performed, for an audience vote. The next set of performances is set to happen this Sunday, January 8th at 7:30 PM at The Bard's Town. The event is free to 2011-2012 season subscribers, but space is limited.

After the final session on April 15th, Pandora will produce a full version of the winning play during the 2012-2013 season.
