     Old Louisville is one of the nations largest preservation districts and the annual Old Louisville House Tour is the largest fundraiser for the Old Louisville Historic Foundation and just one of many ways the neighborhood raises money to keep its prestigious name.

    This year's tour, The Old Louisville 34th Annual Holiday House Tour is set to take place December 4 - 5 from 12 am to 6 pm.

    According to an Old Louisville House Tour press release, the tour will showcase homes east of Central Park representing the Second Street Neighborhood Association and the Toonerville Neighborhood Association.

    The tour is set to start with a shuttle van picking up guests from complimentary parking spots at Cochran Elementary School (located on 5th and Lee Streets). All guests will be transported to the Conrad-Caldwell House Museum, where a a gift boutique will be set-up in the basement, providing Christmas and Hanukah gifts.

    The Dupont Mansion will be included in the tour as well and according to the press release, will feature the Christmas spirit of Alfred Victor Dupont reciting Ogden Nash's Jabez Dawes, The Boy Who Laughed At Santa Claus. 

    During this year's event, there will also be a high Victorian Tea at the Inn at the Park. The Tea will feature English teas and samplings of treats reminiscent of holiday teas in the 19th Century. The food will be prepared by David Domine, The Bluegrass Peasant and entertainment will be provided by harpist, Nancy Stagner.
