    There are many after Derby parties this Saturday that will be sure to get some good press, but the first annual Night of Silk Derby Party at the Galt House, will be the talk of Louisville for weeks to come.  

    Guests will have the chance to rub shoulders with a number of jockeys from the Oaks and the Derby and dance the night away to the band Simply Irresistible. With a portion of the proceeds from this party being donated to the Permanently Disabled Jockey Fund, guests can feel good about dressing to the nines and having a good time for a great cause.

    Some of the jockeys that will be attending the Night of Silk:

    Rafael Bejarano, Gary Birzer, Pat Day, Javier Castellano, Victor Espinoza, Garret Gomez, Laffit Pincay, Jr., Joel Rosario, Mike Smith and John Valazquez.

    Celebrities that will be attending:

    Jim Norton from The Tonight Show with Jay Leno; Aaron Kromer, current offensive line coach for the New Orleans Saints; Donald Blanton, world-renowned Chanel makeup artist, and many more. 

    The party takes place Saturday, May 7th from 8PM-2AM EST at the Galt House Hotel in the Ballroom.  Tickets can be purchased for $375 per individual and includes complimentary valet parking.
