Nickelback is going back on tour for their 8th full-length album, “No Fixed Address,” released worldwide at the end of 2014. They are touring all over the U.S. and even in Europe in countries like the United Kingdom, Italy, and Spain. One of their first stops of this 2015 tour is Louisville, KY! They are coming to the KFC Yum! Center on Wednesday, February 25, with doors opening at 7p.m .and show beginning at 8p.m.
Nickelback will have a special guest opening for them on some of their tour dates, including, the Louisville show. This guest performance will be by an American rock band from New York City, The Pretty Reckless. However, The Pretty Reckless will not be found at every Nickelback concert, and for the most part, every other tour date will consist of all Nickelback.
This new album, “No Fixed Address,” consists of several songs that carry the “Nickelback” vibe that all the fans know so well and a new surprise catch. Nickelback incorporates a taste of the pop-music flavor, even featuring Flo Rida in the song, “Got Me Running Round.” Whether or not this new edge catches your ear, it has garnered relatively positive reviews and was even declared as “catchy.”
Tickets are still on sale and can be purchased at the link below. Tickets are currently ranging from as low as $25 to some pricier seats, depending on your section. However, students at the University of Louisville may purchase $15 tickets at the KFC Yum! Center box office with their student ID until February 24! There is a maximum of 6 tickets per UofL student.
