The Pass play a release show for their new EP The High Road tomorrow at Zanzabar. Just ahead of that show they have released a new song called “Take You Out.” It’s one of their best ever.

Electro-pop is all the rage now and you could say that The Pass are just a part of the trend, but they are bucking that trend every time they get on stage because their tools are not machines. Those guys play instruments. There is something so human about it.

“Take You Out” is a fine example. The lyrics flow so well they need to be sung by the crowd. The musicianship is tight and smooth.

The Pass always invites you to dance. This song is a great one to add to the repertoire. Feels like a closer.

You can check out The Pass tomorrow at Zanzabar with Twenty First Century Fox and Howell Dawdy. Tickets are $10 and the show starts at 9 p.m.
