Louisville has an exciting new recording studio in the center of Old Louisville.  Level7 Recording Studios is on the second floor of the building at 1115 Garvin Place, and the professional setting is something for the neighborhood to be proud of. The team has worked hard to create a top notch recording studio where talent can feel comfortable, complete with nice sofa in the sound booth for long hours.

The studio offers services to help anyone complete their album or record including:

Recording Time - $25 / hour until tomorrow

    CD/DVD duplication

    CD/DVD labeling

    Photoshoots

    Web sites

    CD Labeling

    Graphic Designers

    Musicians and vocalists

    Recording Engineers

The grand opening was Saturday, March 1, and it was quite an uplifting affair. The partners worked around the clock to make sure the studio was ready for the influx of visitors, and everyone had a huge smile on their face. It doesn't hurt that the partners behind the studio have 10-20 years experience with each of the services they offer. The studio is above the offices for "A New Legacy Reentry Corporation", an organization that "helps ex-offenders (men and women) who were previously incarcerated for non violent, nonsexual crimes." They also provide a separate program to address "the needs of veterans who may face the following; joblessness, homelessness, and medical issues." Representatives of New Legacy gave some very moving speeches and introduced a veteran who has found a very happy life after the loss of a leg in service.
