Next Tuesday, August 14th come down to the New Albany-Floyd County Public Library for Fiddle Tales, an interesting and informative evening all about the fiddle. Tom Cunningham is a Louisville fiddler who plays

contra dance music with the Coffee Zombies, country/folk with Mickey Clark and friends, and swing music with The Hot Club of Derbytown. Come hear his folksy spin on the fiddle to include a look at the

history, sounds, and stories of the instrument. Ever wonder what the difference is between a violin and a fiddle? Well show up and ask Cunningham for yourself. "It will be an evening that will be sure to warm your heart and tickle your spirit."

This event is free and will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the Strassweg Auditorium on Tuesday, August 14, 2012.
