    The Muhammed Ali Center turns five this weekend and has planned special activities to celebrate. Since it's opening cermonies, which began Nov. 19, 2005, the Ali Center has continued to celebrate the Louisville native who burst on the boxing scene by winning a gold medal at the '60 olympics in Rome.

    Ali furthered helped to boost his status as a world icon by winning the world title 3 seperate times, while simultaneously molding his way into one of the worlds most well-known humanitarians.

    The Ali Center will celebrate by offering discounted merchandise. The center also plans to show a video of highlights from the center's opening ceremonies, which was a start studded event. The video will be shown for free in the center's auditorium Friday and Saturday at 1 pm.
