Last weekend housed a plethora of Halloween related activities including a new Halloween tradition, the Monster Crash. For the past two years, local band, The Crashers, have organized their very own Halloween party. Complete with live music, dancing, and contests, this festive bash was a hit with all the guests.

The theme for the second annual Monster Crash was “The Haunted Prom.” Many concert goers took the theme literally. Most guests dressed as various prom kings and queens, nerds, and even football players and cheerleaders. The Nachand Fieldhouse in downtown Jeffersonville, Indiana proved to be the perfect venue for this theme as it was a gym.

As always, The Crashers put on a fantastic show - even with lead singer, Mark Maxwell, in drag! They played two high-energy sets filled with classic rock hits like You Shook Me All Night Long, Jessie’s Girl, and Jump.

If The Crashers continue their tradition of the Monster Crash next year, I will definitely attend, and I highly recommend putting it on your Halloween activity list.

If you’d like to know more about The Crashers, their upcoming shows, or how to book them for your event, visit thecrashers.com.
