The snow is almost a thing of the past, and as every Louisvillian breaks their frostbite riden clothes off of themselves, spring shines just around the corner. And with spring comes a Louisville favorite, the Flea Off Market.
The Flea off Market isn’t your typical flea market, but rather an outdoor bazaar of the best (and the most esoteric) in Louisville. The once a month event puts up shop at the end of Baxter Ave. on 1007 East Jefferson.
Get out of the house, away from everything resembling snow, and venture to the Flea off Market for a favorite of Louisville happenings. Rummage through books, records, antiques and crafts and jewelry for that hidden treasure, which you can’t wait to talk about at work on Monday. If you don’t come for the shopping, then come for the food. The Flea off Market brings several food trucks with it, and why not savor an alcoholic beverage on a the first Saturday in March?
Because of a run downtown on Saturday, there may be some street closings. Look here for more information.
The jewelry supplier, Gold Heartstones and Such, Hi Five Doughnuts, Anatolian Fashion and Busta Grill are a few of the 100 vendors to be at the market this weekend. Come out at 1pm on Sunday and join in the Square Dance.
