Love and wealth is in the air in the As Yet Unnamed Theatre Company's production of Sabrina Fair, which will open on May 21.

All performances of Sabrina Fair will take place in the Mex Theater at the Kentucky Center for the Arts, located at 501 West Main Street in downtown Louisville. Performances will take place on May 21, 22, 28, and 29 at 8 p.m. each night. Matinee shows, meanwhile, will take place on May 23 and 30 at 2:30 p.m.

Tickets for the AYUTC show are $16 dollars per person and can be purchased at the Kentucky Center website, at the box office, or by calling 502-584-7777.

Sabrina Fair features Sabrina Fairchild, the daughter of the Larrabee family chauffeur who has come home after spending five years in Paris during the 1950s. Sabrina attempts to figure out a love dilemma. Is she in love with David, the youngest son in the Larrabee family, or should she go back to Paris and wed a rich Frenchman? As she investigates, she also discovers she may in love with Linus, the older Larrabee brother.

As Sabrina attempts to figure out her love life, her father becomes rich playing the stock market. No one, at first, seems to know about it.

Samuel Taylor created Sabrina Fair, which is directed for As Yet Unnamed by Sandy Richens Cohrs. The AYUTC cast for Sabrina Fair includes Katy Casper, Charlotte Dubois, Magdalen Hartman, Janet Popp, Tim Curtsinger, Tom Dunbar, Ron Johnson, Jane Schuster, Brian Dubois, Elaine Hackett, Michael McCollum, Pamela Slack, Gary Tipton, and John Newman.

Sabrina Fair was on Broadway from November 1953 to August 1954 at the National Theatre and the Royale Theatre.

As Yet Unnamed Theatre Company will complete its season with performances of Picnic. Auditions for the William Inge-penned production will take place on May 24 at 7 p.m. at the Third Lutheran Church, located at 1864 Frankfort Avenue in Louisville. More information on the audition can be found by calling Sandy Cohrs at 445-3203 or emailing ayutc@aol.com.
