The Hometown Tourist Celebration in Louisville began on May 4 and continues through May 31. It gives residents of Kentucky and Indiana discounts at more than 80 businesses, including area attractions, hotels, shops, and restaurants.
Some of the highlights include:
- A free 1/4 pound of Schimpff's Cinnamon Red Hots at Schimpff's Confectionery with the mention of the celebration.
- A free dessert with the purchase of a meal at Joe Huber's Family Farm and Restaurant. Show the Hometown Tourist Brochure to redeem this deal.
- BOGO ticket at Derby Dinner Playhouse, valid on the following dates only: May 13, 19, 20, 26, and 27.
- Two for one general admission to Kentucky Derby Museum.
- BOGO at Locust Grove.
- $5 off any bike rental at Wheel Fun Rentals.
- BOGO cavern tours at Squire Boone Caverns.
- BOGO adult admission at Frazier History Museum.
- Two for the price of one adult admission to Muhammad Ali Center.
- One free topping with purchase of large cup or cone at The Comfy Cow.
