The Louisville Youth Orchestra follows up last month's triumphant appearance with My Morning Jacket with a performance this Sunday, November 21, 4p.m., at Ballard High School. For this fall concert, the young musicians return to the classics with selections from Beethoven's 3rd and 5th Symphonies, Edvard Grieg's Peer Gynt Suite, and Schubert's Symphony No. 8.

The program, called "Fate Knocking," will feature not only the Symphony Orchestra (Jason Seber, Music Director/Conductor), but also the Repertory Orchestra (Richard Ryan, Conductor), Concert Orchestra (Chris Lerner, Conductor) and Percussion Ensemble (Mark Tate, Coach) .

The concert will be held at the Sandy Allen Fine Arts Center, Ballard High School, at 6000 Brownsboro Road.  Ticket prices are $13.50 for adults, $10.00 for senior citizens, $5.00 for students with a valid ID, and free admission for hildren under school age. Tickets may be purchased at the door.
