Before we get capslock-yelled-at on twitter, there are so many more amazing Louisville related twitter feeds in town.  These are just a few of our favorites. If you have any more suggestions, tweet us!

    1. @GoCards

Official twitter feed of University of Louisville athletics. Enough said.

    2. @KentuckyDerby

If you want to keep up with Derby news all year round, here’s your source.

    3. @LouisvilleHumor

Louisville Humor tweets relatable, hilarious Louisville stuff.

    4. @louisvillemayor

You know it’s 2013 when you can follow your mayor on twitter. Mayor Greg Fischer’s twitter is informative and a Louisville must-follow.

    5. @louisvillecom

Come on, did you think we’d make a list of essential Louisville twitters and not put ourselves on it? We’re a great twitter to follow if you want to know where to go and what to do. Also we’re funny.

    6. @LocalViewLouisville

Local View is a fairly new app centered on deals, coupons and events for Louisville (they also do Bowling Green but who cares about Bowling Green.) The app is free and the twitter is a great place to visit if you want to fill up your calendar.

    7. @New2Lou

New2Lou is “a social organization designed as a resource for transplants to Louisville who are looking to meet new people, try new places and connect to the community.” Their website and twitter are an incredible resource for new Louisvillians.

    8. @LSFAlliance

The Louisville Street Food Alliance is “a group of licensed and insured high quality food trucks in Louisville, KY.” If you don’t want to individually follow all the food truck twitters, this is a good feed to follow. (Follow all the food truck twitters anyway.)

    9. @loueyville

Melissa Chipman blogs at loueyville.com and is the managing editor at Insider Louisville. She’s really got her finger on the pulse of this city.

    10. @LouFamFun

A fantastic resource for twitterers (tweeters? twits?) with kids who want to experience Louisville in a more family-friendly way. Less Bourbon, more playdates.
