Local publishing company Blackwyrm Publishing is giving away a Kindle and a ton of books, and there are lots of ways to enter the drawing for no cost.

Most of the contest is centered around liking Facebook pages or sharing the contest with others. According to one of the owners, Dave Mattingly, the contest is meant to drive interest and raise awareness of the authors the company publishes.

The company publishes science fiction, fantasy, horror, mysteries, some inspirational titles and has recently added a line of business books. They consider their main focus to be "experimental fiction". They are also responsible for popular tabletop games and accessories.

They visit 15-20 major conventions or festivals per year and a lot of local events  in addition to selling the books and games on their web site, on Amazon, or in bookstores. Most recently they were at the "Keep Louisville Weird" festival at the Water Tower with the Louisville Independent Business Association, and they will be at the Butchertown Art Festival June 1. Larger convention appearances include Fandom Fest or  Dragon Con in Atlanta, Georgia.

One way to enter the contest is to subscribe to their YouTube channel, where the publisher offers a weekly web series on their Youtube channel called "Friday Fiction", where you can get a weekly reading of a novel excerpt from one of their authors. The videos were produced utilizing local vocal talent and are meant as a free offering of entertainment. Each video is under five minutes.

You can visit the contest tab on their facebook page to find out more about how to enter and see the entire list of prizes. If you're not on Facebook, visit the rafflecopter site they are using to run the contest. They have close to 900 entries currently; the contest ends August 1, 2013.  The grand prize winner will be able to choose between a Kindle Fire or Kindle PaperWhttp://www.rafflecopter.com/rafl/display/a9b6011/hite.
