Not too long after Louisville got an announcement from a festival promoting gourmet man food, Louisville Outskirts Festival, a music festival meant to highlight the music made by the women of Louisville’s independent music scene, announced Saturday the preliminary lineup for its multi-venue festival.
The music festival, to be held October 10-12, will not only feature performances from local, regional, and national acts, but will also present rockshops, music workshops for girls ages 10-18.
Performance venues already confirmed are The New Vintage, Dreamland, and The Cure Lounge. One more venue is still to be announced.
The preliminary lineup is as follows: Abiyah, Absolutely Not, Antietam, Bridge 19, The Cell Phones, Cher Von, The Fervor, Juanita, Lady Pyramid, Mahogany Reign, Maiden Radio, Sandpaper Dolls, Shannon Wright, Tara Jane O’Neil, Trophy Wife, Twenty First Century Fox, Twin Limb.
Many acts hail from Louisville while others come to Louisville Outskirts Festival from Cincinnati, Chicago, New York City, and Los Angeles.
