Every genre in this city has its scene and every scene has its big moment. It’s likely that Louisville hip hop had its moment last December when Dr. Dundiff & Friends, Bird Zoo, Skyscraper Stereo, 1200 and JaLin Roze stormed the venue. Now, psychedelic music may be about ready to have its moment.
10 bands are coming together at Headliners Music Hall on July 24 and 25 to bring the house down for Psych Fest.
Bands on July 24 include The Hot Wires, New Bravado, Graffiti, Dream Eye Color Wheel, and Family Dog. On July 24, Headliners hosts The Wrists, Black Birds of Paradise, Parlour, Broadfield Marchers, and Kaleidico.
An event like this with this sort of lineup doesn’t come around often. You can thank Holy Carp Productions for putting the event together.
Each night doors open at 8 p.m. and music begins at 9:00 p.m. Single day tickets are $6 in advance and $8 on the day of the show. You can even purchase a $10 ticket that will get you in both night. RSVP to these 18+ shows at their Facebook event page.
