The New Vintage
Here’s two indie rock bands approaching the genre in their own way. Run River North leans towards a folkier sound, think The Decemberists, while The Lighthouse & The Whaler (a name drawn from Moby Dick) ignites a more electronic sound.

The Louisville Palace
The English group pioneered genres we know today to be art and prog rock. The group has been sharing their music with the world since the late 60s and has snagged 18 platinum and gold records along the way. The air is going to be full of nostalgia tonight, there’s no doubt about that.
KCD Theater
The Americana duo from Charleston are frequenters to the Louisville music scene. They never seem to let us down either.
Zanzabar
The electronic music pioneer, Eliot Lipp, has been denoted as one of the top 10 fastest rising DJs. Vibe says, “Lipp's omnivorous taste in music expands to include everything from electro to funk to indie to downtempo and trap." Joining Lipp is New York City hip hop artist, Blockhead.

Zanzabar
This is psych rock four-piece from Brazil is one you don’t want to miss. There sound is psych, sure, but there’s something more romantic about. Perhaps, it’s the fact the group sticks to their roots by singing their songs in Portuguese.

Franklin’s genre is contemporary gospel and has been called “the Garth Brooks of gospel."
Kaiju
Trishes runs in the same vein as other indie pop artists like, Lorde and Lana Del Rey. She does live vocal looping, synthesizer and beat boxing, so the show should be interesting!

Automagik, Edward Hamel
Kaiju
Cincinnati band, Automagik, labels there genre of music as “Rocky Road Ice Cream” which isn’t too far off. Rocky road offers an explosion of sugar in your mouth just like Automagik explodes in your ears. They both leave you buzzed and hyperactive.

Headliner’s Music Hall
Folk, pop, indie, whatever, what’s really great about Thao & The Get Down is lead singer, Thao Nguyen’s, voice. It’s distinctive, pungent, and inescapable. The group’s songs highlight elements of indie pop, but with qualities of a singer-songwriter.
