Monday (1/11)
The New Vintage
Indie folk artist Joshua Powell and his backing band are kicking of their tour right here in Louisville!
Tuesday (1/12)
Justin Paul Lewis
Aloft Corner Restaurant and Bar
Lewis is Americana with soul. His music draws you in and keeps you there. His bluesy single, “Go Outside,” is convincing enough.
The New Vintage
Carey is a Nashville outfit with simple, warm and fuzzy grooves. Dig it. Voodoo Economics is a local group in the same vein. They released their album last month.
Wednesday (1/13)
Zanzabar
If you haven’t heard this Nashville band now’s the time. Their sound is psych rock, but it’s contained in a weird, kind of chill way. I’m a big fan of Michael Parks Jr.’s folk vocals textured with wailing guitars.
The Hideaway Saloon
This Midwest five-piece harps on rock elements from the 60s and 70s.
Clifton Center
It’s Winter Wednesday and that means a FREE show INDOORS!
Thursday (1/14)
Zanzabar
Baker’s youthful voice sings some of the saddest songs you’ll ever hear. The singer-songwriter is similar to other artists like, Bon Iver, spilling their passion, pain and sorrow.

Friday (1/15)
The New Vintage
The Americans are, well, an all American band, a group that dives into the rich roots of traditional American music. The Quiet Hollers? You know ‘em and you love ‘em. They’re the best bummer rock in the city!
Mercury Ballroom
Bring a friend! But make sure it’s just a friend.
Zanzabar
Old Baby is well seasoned with local music veterans. They’re playing with Lexington band, Teal Grapefruit. Aside from having a great name, Teal Grapefruit’s, sound is refreshing and different.
The Cure Lounge
Join PlayCold for the release of his album, “Culahs."

Need I say more?
KCD Theater
This classical pop rock band is like an affordable fine wine, high end qualities, yet, attainable. The group played Forecastle last year, so a show indoors in the winter could lend a much different expereience.
Zanzabar
This show should be great entertainment. The lush pop group is packing a well-stocked band including violin, cello, and trumpet.
The New Vintage
The Illinois’s band, Church Booty, fuses elements of R&B, jazz, funk, and soul. They’re a large group, nut not overwhelming. Joining them is a local jazz fusion group.
Mag Bar
Here's a healthy dose of experimental, punk, and garage sounds.

Modern Cult Records
Feeling a little hardcore? This one's for you.
