Tomorrow, Friday July 2, is the last Downs After Dark, at Churchhill Downs, of the season. The theme is "Boots, Brew, & BBQ", which is described as a "honky-tonk celebration". Besides the depressing theme, Downs After Dark promises to be a fun time with $2 beers from 4pm-7pm on a Paddock and a dance party with a DJ from 9pm-midnight. There is also horse racing in there, the first post is at 6pm. The popular sweepstakes promotion, "Bet or No Bet" will also be taking place throughout the night. This is when a random fan is asked to either take $100 in cash or place a free $1,000 win bet on a horse in an upcoming race. If you haven't been yet, go...or you'll have to wait until 2011.
