Why should fun nights out only happen on the weekends? Louisville has something fun planned every single night and so should you! And if you’re looking to spice up your entire week instead of reserving the good times for the weekend, look no further. Zanzabar has you covered with yet another exciting musical showcase on Monday night featuring the return of Nashville natives, Kopecky.

Many have known them by their former name, the Kopecky Family Band, but just because they’ve shortened their name doesn’t mean they’ve shortened their talent. Since the band’s last stop in Louisville back in October of last year, they’ve completed their new, highly anticipated second album, Drug for the Modern Age. And after releasing it last month, vocalist and keyboardist, Kelsey Kopecky and her southern group of musicians are ready to rock Louisville with live performances from the album’s best tracks, like the first single, “Quarterback.” (Go ahead and have a listen here.)

When discussing the band’s direction with the new album via their website, Kopecky’s lead vocalist and guitarist Gabe Simon explains,”The idea behind the title, ‘Drug for the Modern Age,’ is that we’re all trying to find the drug that helps us get through life and deal with the pressures and challenges that almost everyone in our generation faces.” It sounds like this Monday night is sure to be full of loud of rhythmic self-expression.

Tickets to the show are $10 and can be purchased online here or at the door. Kopecky is set to perform at 9pm and Zanzabar’s doors open for the show at 8pm. Be sure to grab a table and order some delicious Zanzabar classics like its Germantown Club Sandwich stacked with smoked ham, bacon and turkey, or the bar’s famous Super Cobra Nachos loaded with spicy jalapenos and drenched in Zanzabar’s homemade chili.
