    Kids, bring your parents!

The Bullitt County Chamber of Commerce (along with several corporate sponsors) presents the 2011 KidsFEST this Saturday, March 12. From 10 a.m.–3 p.m., be a kid again as you wander, play and learn from more than 70 booths with activities geared toward the youngins.

Activities abound both inside and out. Stroll the grounds outside and test your skill with the obstacle course. Check out the bike rodeo, bouncy house, and the Mobile Lincoln Museum (thanks to the Kentucky Historical Society).

Inside, harken back to the days of old and learn to write with a quill pen. Watch a balloon artist at work, and even get a finger cast by the folks from Norton Healthcare. Take some time to talk to the firefighters and the police officers. And if you're one of the first 4,000 through the door, expect an extra special surprise.

All children must be supervised by adults--don't drop and run. Pack up the family and drive on down to the Paroquet Springs Conference Centre (395 N. Joe B. Hall Ave. Shepherdsville) for the...wait for it...free 2011 KidsFEST.

    About Michelle Rynbrandt

Before landing in the Possibility City, Michelle toured the country performing in various regional theatres. Having been there and done that, she can honestly say that Louisville's cultural opportunities are second to none.
