If you still think of only Shakespeare in the Park – Central Park – when you think of Kentucky Shakespeare, you need to catch up to the fact that the group is now a year-round theater company working on cool projects, like the Shakespeare on Stage Film Series and the recent radio play it staged in partnership with WUOL.
“Last year, Kentucky Shakespeare visited nine area parks, this year we are thrilled to double that amount to 18 neighborhoods,” says Producing Artistic Director Matt Wallace.
From late March to Mid-May, the tour will bring a seven-member, 90-minute production of MacBeth to these parks:
