Kentucky Science Center Vintage Summer Movie Series Takes You Back in Time
    Print this page

A new summer movie series is now running at The Kentucky Science Center. The Center’s four-story digital theater is the downtown place to be, especially if you want to catch some of your “vintage” favorites on the big, big, big screen. In addition to the theater’s usual roster of documentaries that you likely won’t see anywhere else, get your tickets for these special summer movies, too. You can purchase tickets online.

    “E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial”

Through June 19, the little alien is going to appear quite a bit larger on this screen, so prepare yourself.

    “Back to the Future”

Starting June 20, come to terms with the fact that this movie came out 29 years ago, if you can.

“Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark”

From July 4 to July 17, the first and best of the Indiana Jones movies is the very definition of larger than life.

    “Jurassic Park” 3D

From July 18 to July 31, reconstituted dinosaurs come at you in 3D. What could go wrong?

    “The Princess Bride”

August 1 to August 14, it’s epic adventure and romance for all ages. Have fun storming the castle!

The Kentucky Science Center is at 727 West Main Street. Call 502-561-6100 for more information.
