Maureen Uhlin is a local Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks hat designer and fascinator maker. You may have seen her work on locals Angie Fenton, Julie Smith, and Hadley Hartz. She has also had Playboy Playmates as clients. Uhlin has been an artist all of her life; three of them she has designed and created hats and fascinators.

Her fun and beautiful creations are priced around $137.00 and up. All are named and not duplicated; giving her clients a one of a kind item. Maureen’s Creations are available to purchase at Peacock Boutique, The Great Hat Exchange and Karen of Course, which are all local shops. She is also available to be contacted for a free consultation if you are interested in creating a hat or fascinator to match your previously purchased dress.

    About Bella Portaro

Happiness Cultivator. Blogger. Writer. Social Media and PR Maven. Dreamer. Louisville Lover. Blogger at Bella of Louisville; a lifestyle blog. A lifestyle is- by definition to me - the way in which one chooses to live their life. As I’ve entered into this chapter / book of my life with a strong understanding of who I am, lifestyle has become about the art of living well. This idea goes beyond creating a beautiful home and investing in my wardrobe. Living well means being kind, being good company, contributing to your community, and becoming a person of substance and grace. If designing a life full of substance and grace isn’t aspirational, I don’t know what else is. I love writing about events and things to do in Louisville. I hope you enjoy my posts and connect with me on social media!
