Get ready to laugh with the unplanned and out-of-nowhere comedy of Improvapalooza 12, which will take place this weekend.

Improvapalooza 12 will go on Jan. 6 and 7 at 8 p.m. each night.  Both performances are to happen in the Mex Theatre at Kentucky Center for the Arts, located in downtown Louisville at 501 West Main Street.

Tickets for the 90-minute extravaganza are $18 per person.  They can be purchased at the Kentucky Center box office, the Kentucky Center website, or by calling the box office at 1-800-775-7777.  Keep in mind, the show may contain strong language.

Think of this as Whose Line Is It Anyway with a lot more games and participants.  The Louisville Improvisers are hosting the 12th edition of Improvapalooza, which brings together local and national improvisers for a night of unplanned comedy.  Performing along with the Improvisers are Colleen Smith and Candace Brown from the Los Angeles-based troupe The Groundlings and members of the Nashville-based troupe Narcotic Farmers.

More information on the Louisville Improvisers and Improvapalooza 12 can be found at the Louisville Improvisers website.
