Looking for a family activity this evening to warm your heart and soul? Join in the holiday sing-along hosted by Heartland Music Together. Tonight, Thursday, December 27 at 6:30pm, the Heartland Music teachers will be at one of their sites, John Knox Presbyterian Church to greet families, both seasoned and newcomers. Activities include singing traditional holiday carols and some favorites from the Music Together collection. Play along with some jingle bells and try out karaoke! If you would like to bring a potluck dish, it is encouraged. Cookies will be provided. A suggested donation of $5 helps fund the scholarship program for families who need it.

The event is free and open to the public, so bring your friends and family! It will be a wonderful opportunity to check out what Heartland Music Together is all about. I have known the director, Miriam Klein, for a number of years and can attest to just how wonderful this music program for young children is. I was fortunate to host many of their music class demonstrations at the library where I worked, and my youngest child has taken the baby music class session and is going to proceed with the mixed age classes this winter. Check out their website for more information about class schedules, locations, and enrollment.

John Knox Presbyterian Church is located at 9104 Westport Road. You can call 502-491-3131 for more information.
