Haymarket One Of The Best Bars In America
    Print this page

It’s no secret that I love Haymarket Whiskey Bar.  If I’m out on the town, there’s a good chance I’m going to end up there.  I mean, what’s not to love?  There’s an extensive bourbon list, an awesome proprietor, and Skee Ball.  You guys, I love Skee Ball.  Add in the Dr. Who Pinball machine and the dive-bar atmosphere, and I can assure you this is the place you want to be.

Haymarket has received a lot of attention in the last few years.  Media outlets from all over have recognized Haymarket’s place in the bourbon landscape, and rightly so.  Haymarket is loved by locals and tourists alike.  The Bourbon Review named Haymarket one of the 50 best bourbon bars in the country, and Thrillist placed it in the top 21.

Now Haymarket has been recognized again, this time by The Esquire Channel, as one of the Best Bars in America.  Not one of the best bourbon bars, one of the best bars.  Period.

The television show chronicles the best of the best in bars across America, and they even made at stop a Four Roses distillery in Lawrenceburg for the show.

Haymarket used to be the best kept secret in town, but now it’s known around the world.  This is the tops in bourbon bars as far as I’m concerned, and I’m happy to see Haymarket get so much well-deserved national attention.  Congratulations once again, Haymarket Whiskey Bar, on being one of the best bars in the nation, bourbon or otherwise.
