How many of you get those awesome coupons through LivingSocial and Groupon? I have to admit that I usually delete those suckers right out of my inbox unless they're to one of my favorite places--how many laser hair removal discounts does a girl need, anyway? However, today LivingSocial and Groupon feature deals for two beloved Louisville breakfast/brunch spots: Highland Morning and SuperChef's Breakfast.
SuperChef's Breakfast is run by a former Olympic team chef (really!) and their menu has red velvet pancakes, pumpkin pie oatmeal, and APPLE DULCE DE LECHE PANCAKES IN THE SHAPE OF STARS. They also have a super cool business model; they share space with other restaurants (Cluckers, Chicago Gyros, and Seafood Connection) that don't do much breakfast business. The Groupon deal is either $4 for $8 worth of merchandise, or $12 for $25 worth, and the deal runs for 3 more days.
Highland Morning (their "Wake Me Up" omelet is pictured) has a good reputation for their Belgian waffles, their omelets, and their biscuits and gravy. I have a few friends who have raved about their experience, and a few more who were put off by the service problems and pricing--but for such a great deal, I'm willing to give it a shot! The LivingSocial deal is $8 for $16 dollars worth of food, either at breakfast or lunch, and the deal runs for 6 more days.
