Louisville.com caught up with independent contractor, events coordinator, Chris Rich to talk about this weekend's fashion show and gala.
What is the Glass Runway Show?
The Glass Runway concept came about due to our event location (Glassworks) and also attempting to have a actual Glass Runway. We felt this was a exciting theme to have considering the location we are having it at. This event is the first of many creative events we have planned in benefit of the Louisville Comprehensive MS Center.
Who is invited?
We have invited professionals in Louisville as well as supporters of the Louisville Comprehensive MS Center. We really focused our efforts towards young professionals as we want to raise awareness with our young generation here in Louisville to continue support.

The gala benefits the Louisville Comprehensive MS Center
What will be some of the highlights of the evening?
Our wonderful samplings which will be provided from Raw Sushi, Sake Blue Japanese Bistro, Shiraz and desserts from Cellar Door Chocolates & Cake Flour. We will also have silent auctions as well as raffles. We will have a wonderful fashion who exhibiting magnificant clothing from our local boutiques ranging from Clodhoppers, Peacock, Spree, Sister Dragonfly and Croquis. We will also have gift bag give aways with all of our sponsors brochures and other surprises ranging from gift certificates from Smiles on Smiles Street and perfume from Giorgio Armani. This will be one exciting event that will start several more for our wonderful city!
Where? When? How much?
The event will take place at Glassworks which is located downtown. The actual Fashion Show takes place this upcoming Saturday 11/15 from 9:00 pm to 12:00am. The official after party will take place at Prime Lounge who is also one of our Platinum Sponsors. Tickets are a suggested donation of $50 in advance or $60 at the door.
Anything else readers should know?
This event is greatly needed as this is a local charity and they have had a huge grant cut due to the economy recently. I personally have agreed to help this local charity this year and 2009 via exciting events/concerts so there will be more to come....
