With hundreds of successful local restaurants and several impressive nationally-recognized award-winning chefs, Louisville undeniably has one of the best food scenes in America. And with its growing recognition, it is important to make sure that our city is always known for its excellent quality cuisine and one-of-a-kind delicious flavors.

So what better way to promote Louisville’s original fare than to celebrate it at one of the city’s biggest annual events? Introducing IFTaste 2015.

What has been formerly known in recent years as Taste of Innovation, IFTaste showcases a wide collection of Louisville’s very best dishes and beverages during the annual IdeaFestival. And this year, it’s going to be bigger and more delicious than ever before.

Similar to last year’s Taste of Innovation event which was held at Churchill Downs and featured cuisine from 25 different restaurants and beverages from 16 different breweries, wineries and coffee houses, this year’s flavorful food celebration is about to take IdeaFestival by storm.

Taste 2015 will feature dishes from a list of Louisville’s most innovative establishments like the fairly new 8Up Elevated Drinkery and Kitchen, the creatively spunky Garage Bar and the local favorite that often doubles as a traveling celebrity hotspot, Harvest.

A number of the city’s best names in beverages will also be featured at the event serving up their products. Guests can expect samples of full-flavor wines from Old 502 Winery and tongue-tingling tastes from Against the Grain, among other breweries. Non-alcoholic beverage samples can also be expected from Heine Brothers’ Coffee and Rooibee Red Tea.

This annual event is celebrating Louisville’s impressive and delicious food culture along with the return of IdeaFestival at Copper & Kings located at 1121 East Washington Street in Butchertown on Wednesday, September 30th from 6pm – 8pm. You can check out the complete list of vendors here. Tickets are still available but they’re going fast! You can purchase yours through Eventbrite
