    Bit to Do

Free BYOB show at Solidarity offers strong hip hop, art, and fun: No Droids allo

Solidarity Art Gallery will be hosting a free art and music show  lovingly described as "Oh Shit; U Better Not Be Sleeping" on Friday, February 3 at 8 p.m.

They're right. You better not be sleeping, because  this show will wake you up if you are! Some of Louisville's strongest acts will be there. In addition to strong performance acts, there will be art on display as well. Contact one of the emails below if you'd like to display your art at the mixed use venue, which serves as an art gallery, performance venue, shop, and free library. Co-owner Karl Otto has a private tattoo studio in the same building. The small space is sometimes to blame if you've driven through the Bardstown Rd and Bonnycastle Ave area and wondered what was going on, leaving a crowd on the sidewalk. The event organizers ask that all drama and droids be left at the door. Bring your own drinks, though.

Their line up from Facebook reads:

CPHR DVN = Louisville hip-hop that will break spines only to rebuild them with purpose.

PHANTOM LIMBS AKIMBO = A special blend of man and machine that shatters souls and claims no allegiance to mortal convention.

TOUCH ARMOR CLASS + CLOUDMAN = Apocalyptic hip-hop directly from the most unspeakable of demi-planes.

THE BAND WITH THE GOLDEN GUN = At times frighteningly soothing sounds from the minds of total maniacs.

If you are interested in having your art displayed for the show contact:
