      Dogged Dream Creations is issuing a call to artists, poets, models, musicians to submit interest/work samples for juried show end of May as part of Divinity Rose's next performance/show. Show is presented by Divinity Rose with help from painter Kenn Parks and international fashion designer/make up artist Genna Yussman.     e she released her first graphic novel in 2010. 


    This is a ticketed sexy/upscale event (no charge for participating artists) scheduled for the end of May and is a performance with art show. There will be energetic performance poets, pop music performance, art on display, live painting and body painted models. 

    Participants will be selected by panel. Audience will be encouraged to vote for audience favorite (art) by ballot. Winner of audience favorite will be printed in following issue of Louisville's hottest new all inclusive art browser, Pure Uncut Candy. (www.pureuncutcandy.com) and sent out in Divinity Rose's newsletter, Divinity Rising. 

    Divinity Rose is breaking new grounds for herself as she continues transition from poet to pop artist. When submitting art for the event consider the following. How does poetry affect our society? How does pop affect our society? How does poetry become pop music? Art submitted should focus on words, poetry, paint, pop music or culture...If you submit work dealing iwth pop culture, try to include/merge poetry. How could pop music be used to create healthier society? Photography, paintings, and other art forms considered.

    Performers, models, performance artists (live and model painters) will split a percentage of proceeds. Percentage of Proceeds will also go to non-profit Breaking New Grounds. (www.breakingnewgrounds.org)

    Submissions should be made to ddcsubmit@gmail.com by April 7. Venue to be announced and participants will be notified by April 15. Please do not submit unless you are serious and will follow through with participation. Participants will be asked to sign a participation agreement that includes a commitment agreement. Production company will take 15% of any art sold. 

    ARTISTS:
    Please submit .jpg or .gif photos of your work that you would like to exhibit or submit photos of work samples with proposals of what you would like to do for this show. Special interest in artists who are interested in doing live painting. If you have a model and would like to have your own painted model there, that is a possible submission as well. You will be assigned a poem or song to base your model painting off of. 

    Musicians:
    Please email with proposal of 1 or 2 pop songs you would like to perform along with video of yourself performing live or recorded samples.

    Filmmakers:

    Please email a sample of work and proposal on what you would like to create or submit to be projected during event. We are not looking for films as much as projected video art.

    Poets:

    Please submit video of yourself performing live. Especially interested in high energy poets, poets who perform with music.

    Models:
    Looking for male and female models. Must be comfortable with minimum clothing and being painted, on display throughout the night. Please submit full body photo and interest.


    Aside from the panel selected slots, there are four 3 - 5 minute slots available for musicians, poets, comedians, dancers, etc who sell three tickets each ahead of time to perform during pre-show. These are known as "bringer" slots. These are not paid slots. This is a chance for you to introduce yourself to production company, get on stage at a large event, and be considered as feature spots for future shows. Prefer acts that deal with pop music, pop culture.
