Denizens of Germantown rejoice! The Four Pegs Beer Lounge is now offering brunch on Sundays from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Here's the menu:

I am particularly happy to see the chicken and waffle brunch option, since the chicken and waffle sandwich at Four Pegs has almost attained Hot Brown-level local fame for its utter decadence and deliciousness. This menu has something for everyone, from your vegetarian friend (Four Pegs' veggie burger is rumored to be one of the very best in town!) or the sour cream biscuits with roasted red pepper, pear compote and smoked salmon. Chef Eric Turner has really outdone himself with this, so let's hope brunch at the Germantown pub catches on and stays for a good long while.

If you're not a brunch-y person (what are you doing in Louisville?) make sure you swing by Four Pegs for their 12 Tapes of Christmas special. From December 10 to December 13 the team at Four Pegs will have a special holiday beer (or two!) on tap. So far there have been selections like Mikkeller Hoppy Lovin' Christmas and The North Coast Wintertime Ale. Plus, if you bring in a can for Dare to Care Food Bank or a coat for Kidzwarm, they MIGHT give you a discount on appetizers or drafts. MIGHT. If they're not feeling too Grinch-y, of course.
