A shy man, or an exotic traveler? Find out which shows up in The Foreigner, which opens at Bunbury Theatre tonight.
Performances of The Foreigner will go on June 9-11, 15-18, and 22-25 at 7:30 p.m. each night. Matinee shows, meanwhile, will occur on June 12, 19, and 26 at 2 p.m. each day. All shows will happen at the Bunbury Theatre, located on the third floor of the Henry Clay Building at 604 S. Third Street in Louisville.
Tickets are $21 for general admission, $18 for seniors of at least 62 years of age, $16 for students, and $10 for children under 13 years of age. Tickets can be purchased online at the Bunbury Theatre website or at the door.
The Foreigner is the tale of an extremely shy man named Charlie, who was brought to a rural Georgia fishing lodge by Froggy LeSeuer. LaSeuer tells all others at the lodge that Charlie is from some faraway, exotic country and cannot speak English. Then, Charlie is left alone with the lodge guests, leading to a series of comedic situations.
Larry Shue created the production, which Juregen K. Tossmann directed. The cast includes Matt Orme, Ted Lesley, Alice Chiles, Ty Leitner, Neleigh Olson, Dan Bullington, and Neil Brewer.
