I’m not sure there is another act, performing this year, which has catapulted into stardom as fast as Walk the Moon.  Their smash ‘Anna Sun’ was voted ‘Top Five US Summer Jams’ and lumped them with unlikely cohorts you may have heard of such as Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Cookie Monster (oh no, I mean Carly Rae Jepsen and I had best call her maybe), and Ellie Goulding.

‘Anna Sun’ is a classic pop song, and I don’t mean this in a bad way, with hipster flare that would be similar to The Bravery and The Killers spawning an offspring, with Passion Pit as their Uncle.  Opening the Mast Stage on Sunday, Walk the Moon guarantees to get things going with some great energetic jangles that will have everyone who’s struggling to push through day 3, get up on their feet.  Beginning at 3:30 their set is due to end at 4:20, so get there early.  Then at 4:20, upon Walk the Moon’s set finishing, unwind with (oh I mean on) the great lawn of Kentucky bluegrass.  I’m sure you’ll be in good company.  Happy Forecastle everyone!
