The Vermont-based band, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, will hit the west stage at the Forecastle Festival 2010 ready to dish out their unique mix of music stylings. According to their website, if you enjoy The Rolling Stones, Tina Turner, Janice Joplin, rowdy blues and aggressive guitar riffs, you will love this band. "We're not the kind of band that's gonna fit neatly in one genre...", says Grace Potter, the band's front-woman.

Currently in the middle of a short tour of Canada, they'll be back in the States in a few days, playing their way to the appearance in Louisville. Earlier in June, they made an appearance on Good Morning America, and their current album, the self-titled "Grace Potter and the Nocturnals", hit Billboard's Top 200 at #20, Billboard's Rock Album Chart at #3, and Billboard's Digital Album Chart at #9 on June 16.
