    It’s international Pi Day! Here’s where you can celebrate the irrational 3.14 without doing any math.

    Blaze Pizza allows you to be creative. With a made to order assembly line you can choose any combination of sauce, cheese, veggies, and meats. The thin-crust pizzas are fired in an open-flame oven and ready in 180 seconds! These custom built zas are all under $8.00. On account of pie day they’re offering up whole pizzas for $3.14. “When it comes to offering delicious, fast and affordable pizza, there is no shortage of reasons to celebrate,” said Rodney Poston, Operating Partners for Blaze Pizza in Kentucky, “This Pi Day we are encouraging Louisvillians to think outside the box by creating their own pizza just the way they like it, for only $3.14.”

    For over 15 years Tony Palombino has been serving up pizzas and now has more than five locations, so these gourmet pies are readily accessible. The White Pizza is a hidden gem. It’s Old World Style with fresh mozz, goat cheese, Fontina and Romano on a garlic, olive oil crust and topped with fresh basil. Add spinach, it’s worth it. They also have a killer craft beer draft list. They’re also featuring $3.14 pies on dine-in only!

    Mellow Mushroom

    Yes, another chain, but it’s a good one! The Mellowterranean is the funky restaurants take on a Mediterranean style pie. It’s topped with grilled chicken, onions, roasted red peppers, black olives, chives, feta and mozzarella. Served with a side of tzatziki sauce. The mellow happy hour is Monday through Thursday 3:00 to 6:00 and features half priced drafts, liquor, wine, and apps!

    Ah, it was the perfect drunken slice on Bardstown Road. It’s still around but you’ll have to venture for it. There speciality pizza, Righteous Pig, is worth the travel time if you want to pig out. It’s made with meatballs, bacon, sausage, pepperoni, and ham.

    Made from scratch pies by the slice for $3.14! You won’t be disappointed here folks, the baked goods fanatics have every pie you could dream of, fruit pie, nut pie, cream pie, meringue, they’ve got it all.
