After a perfect weekend, it's getting a little warm here in Louisville. How do we deal with it? Food therapy, mostly. Here's what the Louisville.com staff is into this week:

    Green Chili Wontons from Bristol
Seriously, when's the last time you had one? It's time to revisit this local classic.

    Boombozz's Asiago Cheese Bread
    Need I say more?

Hats on the Avenue Fashion Show Series
This is every Wednesday night at Varanese, and if you're going to Derby this year, you should definitely check it out.

    Gelato Gilberto in Norton Commons
    Louisville's gelato haven

Copper & Kings Bloody Butcher set
The meat packaging isn't creepy at all!

    Strai8t Ballin
Ei8ht Ball Brewing and Against the Grain brewed a bourbon ball inspired beer. YUM!

    Science Friction
Every Friday DJ Sam Sneed, Alex Bell, and JC Denison spin late night vinyls at Galaxie. It's a small dance floor, which is where the friction comes into play. I like to drink at least three Tecates with a shot of tequila inside the can that way my dance moves are extra cool.

The Bidet at Dragon Kings Daughter
Sure they've got great sushi, but that bidet is where it's at! It's like a baptism for your front bottom. Plus, the seat heater is a nice touch.

    Spinelli’s Chicken & Waffles Pizza
You can make it vegetarian without the chicken - and don’t fear the cheese and waffles combo!

Pix Shoes for Derby Hat Shopping
    Hats on hats on hats!

Vegan sausage gravy at Ramsi’s brunch buffet
So good, you’ll wonder why you eat meat at all

    Heine Bros. “Campfire Tea”
Nothing says summertime better than this.

    LARPing at Cherokee Park
Observing it can be just as good of a way to spend your day.
