The Young Filsonians of the Filson Historical Society hosts a Fright Night tonight, or, as they say, “An evening of spooky history from the Filson’s Collections.” The event will feature the Kentucky Mummy, interactive presentations, wicked stories of grave robbers, photographs of the dead (undead photos, if you will), and of course more.
Dane Waters and Warren Christopher Gray will provide accordion and saw musical numbers, while Jeff Blanchard will be on hand to perform as well.
Tickets are $7 at the door. As with all Halloween events, costumes are encouraged. The event is 21 and over. The event runs from 7:30 to 9:30 at 1310 South Third Street. More information is available on their website, www.filsonhistorical.org.
