    Family day and other festivities with the Kentucky Stickhorses

    This upcoming weekend, you and your family can join the fun in a double header with the Kentucky Stickhorses. On Friday, February 1, it’s Ladies Night. All women will enter the game at half price. Watch as the area’s only pro lacrosse team takes on the Baltimore Bombers. The game is at 7:00pm. All female athletes in attendance are encouraged to join others on the field and create a tunnel for the players at the start of the game. There will be special recognition for any female teams at the game on Friday. After the game, fans will be invited down to the turf to meet the players and receive autographs and photos.

    On Sunday, February 3, the Kentucky Stickhorses is hosting a family day. All children under age 12 will be admitted free. The game is at 1:00pm. At their family day, KaZoing Party and Play! will be there with inflatables, balloon animals, and other character greetings for the kids. Prizes may be given out as well by various parent groups who will be there to entertain as well.  

    The Kentucky Stickhorses is a professional, indoor lacrosse team that is playing their second season at Freedom Hall. According to Kristi Nelson, their Executive Vice President, the games are always family friendly. Join them this weekend and discover the thrilling game of lacrosse.

    Tickets can be purchased online here. Prices range from $12-$24.

    On Saturday, February 2, the Kentucky Stickhorses is also holding a VIP Party at Louisville Slugger Museum to benefit Special Olympics Kentucky. Tickets for this special event are $20 and can be purchased here. Players and coaches will be meeting and greeting guests, local singer/songwriter Alex Jennings will provide musical entertainment, and there will be a silent auction. The event starts at 7pm.
