If “Mormon in 15 Minutes or Less,” “Cleaning up the B(lack) S(tereotypes)” or “Three Girls and a Guy” sound like plays you’d like to see—and the titles are pretty irresistible—you can, for free. Tomorrow only, Wednesday, April 27, the University of Louisville’s Theatre Arts Department will feature original short plays by MFA students.

In Solo Command Performances, each student will star in a 14-minute vignette in various genres, including comedy, tragedy and folk tales. But this isn’t for kids. According to theatre professor James Tompkins, some of the content “may be a bit edgy, so audiences should be prepared to be a bit shocked as well as entertained.” He adds that UofL is only college in Kentucky to offer a Master of Fine Arts degree in acting.

The performance begins at 7 p.m. at the Thrust Theatre, 2314 S. Floyd St. Seating is first come, first served. For more information, call 852-6814.
