Nostalgia and terror combine this weekend and next at the only drive-in within a fifty mile radius. Presented by Fright Night Film Fest and Georgetown Drive-In, the event includes a double feature of classic horror movies on one screen and two modern kid's movies on the other. In addition to the outdoor movies, there will be the Midway of Mayhem, where for a small fee you can play carnival games (where every play is a winning one), as well as a haunt two doors down, with transportation arranged by the drive-in.

Friday, October 12, will include homemade chili cooked over a campfire to enjoy while you watch Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Meatcleaver Massacre or Frankenweenie and The Odd Life of Timothy Green. Showtimes start at 8:00.

Saturday, October 13, will include homemade bean soup alongside a Night of the Living Dead double feature followed by a late showing of Texas Chainsaw Massacre or Frankenweenie and The Odd Life of Timothy Green. Showtimes start at 8:00.

Sunday, October 14 will not include the horrors, but only a double feature of Frankenweenie and The Odd Life of Timothy Green starting at 7:45.

Friday, October 19, will have a double feature of The Shining followed by a late showing of Frankenweenie. The other screen will show a double feature of Frankenweenie.

Saturday, October 20, will be the last day of the drive-in season for 2012, and will include a Halloween marathon: Halloween, Halloween 4, and Halloween 5. The other screen will show Frankenweenie and The Odd Life of Timothy Green.

Tickets are $15 which includes all movies and the haunt. Children four and under are free. For more information, visit www.georgetowndrivein.com or www.driveinofterror.com.
