The Kosair Shrine Circus is in town through this Sunday at the Kentucky Fairgrounds bringing you the classic circus extravaganza that has entertained children for generations. The show includes an elephant parade, nail-biting acrobatics and many other spectacles that will delight the kids. Tickets are $14-$20, depending on seat location and can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com.

If you're willing to spend a little more money on a great show for both kids and adults, I would try the Moscow Circus. Celebrating its 120th anniversary, Moscow Circus will be performing this Saturday at the Brown Theater. Deeply rooted in Russian folk and cultural tradition, this circus weaves death-defying stunts with Russian folk music, dancers and puppets. Purchase tickets at www.kentuckycenter.org to see one of the premiere circuses in the entire world.
