Take a time warp back to the days of the Vogue cinema in the showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show...Vogue Style, which occurs this weekend at Alley Theater.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show...Vogue Style performances will go on March 18 and 19 at 8 p.m. each night.  Both shows will take place in the Alley Theater, located in The Pointe at 1205 East Washington Street.

Tickets for the show are $12 per person and are general admission. Table reservations are an extra $20 for a 4 -5 seat table.  The larger tables are sold out.  Tickets can be purchased online at the Alley Theatre website or by calling the box office at 502-713-6178.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show...Vogue Style involves many aspects of what made watching the movie at the Vogue fun. This includes much audience participation, and how the audience gets involved can be found at this website.  A shadow cast will perform alongside the movie, and various special guests will also be involved.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show is essentially a parody of the science fiction and B-movie genres, set to a rock musical format. The conservative Brad and Janet find themselves caught in the world of Dr. Frank-N-Furter, a sweet transvestite and mad scientist.  Memorable songs from the show include Time Warp, Touch-a Touch-a Touch-a Touch Me, and Hot Patootie.

Following Rocky Horror Picture Show, Vogue Style, Alley Theater and Art Sanctuary will present The Last Days of Judas Iscariot. The production is essentially a trial of the one that betrayed Jesus.  As Judas's life is displayed during the trial, testimony will come from witnesses like Mother Teresa, Sigmund Freud, and even Satan himself.

More information about the show can be found at the Alley Theater website.
