New Albany, IN native and popular Louisville magician Darshwood the Conjurer has been invited to represent the US at INDIAJaal magic festival August 14 and 15 this year.
INDIAJaal is a unique magic festival introducing a mix of traditional Indian street magic with modern ethnic and western performances. This is the first time for this amazing festival located at the Magic Academy at Thiruvananthapuram, India. There will be groups representing northern and southern India assembling for the convention along with a great number of stage performers specializing in grandiose illusion. As the US delegate, Darshwood will be appearing as a featured performer and guest lecturer. He will also be receiving a special citation from the Minister of Tourism and Culture on August 15, the country's Day of Independence.
Darshwood the Conjurer is a popular and charismatic postmodern magician and hypnotist residing in new Albany, IN and performing throughout Kentuckiana. He's the grandson of a Ringling Brothers, Barnum and Bailey Circus clown, and the nephew to a grand stage illusionist. He does an amazing mix of up close and personal street magic, as well as hypnosis, birthday magic, and lectures on "The Art and Science of Deception."
