    If you are a frequent concertgoer, regardless or your age or music interests, you are bound to be buying a ticket to one of the many great concerts that were announced today. Promoters pulled out all the stops on this Monday. Grab your calendars and start marking dates. The following concerts were announced today:

    Alabama Shakes: July 30, Iroquois Amphitheater, $45-$55

    Billy Idol: September 15, Iroquois Amphitheater, $48-$82

    Paul Thorn: September 11, Bomhard Theater, Tickets start at $25

    Ed Kowalcyzk: October 21, Bomhard Theater, Tickets start at $30

    Death From Above 1979: July 24, Mercury Ballroom, $20

    Rhiannon Giddens: September 17, Mercury Ballroom, $25

    Raekwon and Ghostface Killah: July 30, Mercury Ballroom, $29.50

    Andy Grammer: August 12, Mercury Ballroom, $25

    Citizen Cope: August 8, Headliners Music Hall, $41

    Joan Jett and the Blackhearts: August 29, Kentucky State Fair, FREE

    As previously reported on Louisville.com, Forecastle announced its late night shows. Artists like Lord Huron, Talib Kweli, White Reaper, and The Floozies will play after the waterfront festival. You must buy a separate ticket to a Forecastle late night show.
