Louisville running back, Bilal Powell, is extremely elusive.
Ask any reporter.
You cannot get this guy to comment on anything.
After having another 100 yard day and moving up to the #3 rushing spot nationally, reporters finally got their arms around him.
In a post game press conference, Powell commented that the younger players were lucky for the situation they walked into, and that the older players needed to just forget the last three years. The UofL fan base,as a whole, needs to take his advice.
Louisville has won 4 games this year.
This ties the win total from last year.
With five games left, the Cards are extremely confident that they can find the two more wins they need to become bowl eligible.
This is starting to look like the one year turn around that John L. Smith engineered when he took over a 1-10 team and lead them to a bowl in his first year.
This would no doubt be just as magical.
For the second straight week,
representatives from bowl games were checking the Cardinals out.
The coach who will longer be named who previously ran this team did not get a lot of these visitors.
So it is official.
I am ripping the rear view mirror off.
Fans need to enjoy our stars like Powell and Beaumont and hope that we send these guys out winners.
Let's forget about the negative past
and look forward to the bright future with Coach Strong.
If this guy takes us to a bowl game this year, I really think a contract extension is the right thing to do.
I am just excited to talk about making plans for bowl games again.
Go Cards!
